Alessandro Villa was born in Milan in 1974. His favorites subjects are people, their faces and their eyes. The most common characteristics of his portraits are the still and expressionless looks direct to the camera. At the moment he teaches pictorial disciplines at the a School of Art and Models for the Architecture by the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano University. He’s currently involved in two photographic projects, picturing adolescents and workers.
This Series section shows the Shashin Collective in full swing. The Collective working together simultaneously around the globe on carefully selected themed content. Its content will continually grow and show the power and beauty of the combined creative minds that make up Shashin.
