Owen Richards was born in Oxford in 1983. He was given his first camera by his Dad, which he promptly dropped and broke. After learning how to hold a camera properly he went on to study for a year at the University of Gloucestershire. Attracted by the punk music and art scene he continued his studies at Exeter School of Art and Design, graduating with a BA Degree in Photography in 2005.
Now living in London he continues to photograph for the love and sometimes the money. He has recently had work published in Cake Magazine, Joy Quarterly and was a regular contributor to Plan B magazine.
This Series section shows the Shashin Collective in full swing. The Collective working together simultaneously around the globe on carefully selected themed content. Its content will continually grow and show the power and beauty of the combined creative minds that make up Shashin.
